Estyn Inspection
Estyn Inspection - October 2022
I am absolutely delighted to share our Estyn inspection report with you. All five areas of the report are outstanding. I am incredibly proud of our staff and whole school community who have worked tirelessly over the last five years to build Jubilee Park into an amazing place to be.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all the staff and our Governing Body for not only believing in me but for being instrumental in the development of our school. Most importantly our children are an absolute credit to you. Our school would not be what it is without our Jubilee Stars.
The report recognises:
-
‘Nearly all pupils leave the school extremely well prepared for the next stage of their education and the challenges of life’
-
‘The standards of pupils well-being is a strength of the school’
-
‘Most pupils develop extremely positive attitudes to learning and develop strong independent learning skills’
-
‘Adults know their pupils well and support and challenge each pupil as an individual, both in mainstream classes and in the LRB’
-
‘Senior leaders have worked highly effectively with staff and governors to establish a vision for the school based around impactful professional learning and effective engagement with research. This underpins and permeates all the school’s work and directly results in improved outcomes for pupils.’

Estyn Interim Visit - 2nd April 2025
I am absolutely delighted to share our feedback from our Estyn interim visit which took place on the 2nd April. As we had no recommendations following our core inspection in October 2022, the inspection team focused on the following two areas of our School Improvement Plan:
Anti-Racism
Decolonise our Thrive Curriculum to ensure that it enriches the knowledge, skills and experiences of all children.
Language of Learning
Develop our language of learning so that it is mature, deliberate and intentional.
The feedback from the Estyn HMI inspectors is outstanding and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to both the priorities above and to our school thriving as a learning organisation. I am incredibly proud of the feedback and would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all the staff and our Governing Body for their continued hard work and support. Most importantly, your children and our Jubilee Stars, have once again been recognised for their fantastic behaviour, attitudes to learning and the great progress they make - they are a credit to you.
I hope you enjoy reading the letter!
