Pupil Action Research Group


  • To empower pupils, giving them a real and meaningful role in making decisions that affect them in school

  • To develop skills that pupils can use in real life situations

  • To develop literacy, numeracy and DCF skills and help pupils realise the Four Purposes



  • Collaborate to decide issues that they would like to address in school

  • Take the lead in carrying out research, analysing and sharing feedback

  • Be respectful of opinions and remain unbiased

  • Ensure everyone in the school community is fairly represented in the consultation process

  • Provide a link between pupils, teachers, senior management team, governors and the whole school community
